Mr. Stephen Kalish is a proven executive leader with demonstrated success in developing trusted business partnerships within the government and federal consulting marketplaces. Throughout his career, Mr. Kalish has exceeded revenue, margin and win rate goals for his wide range of customers and has managed contracts exceeding $1.3 billion. His creative, flexible and collaborative partnership approach to customers, as well as a keen understanding of their needs, provides unparalleled value to all facets of Deep Water Point business.

As president of Crown Consulting, Mr. Kalish was responsible for the growth and performance of this $25 million business. Under his leadership, Crown won numerous major contracts as a prime for the FAA, Volpe and an intelligence agency.  Crown also increased their business at DOT, DHS, DOD, Intel and NASA as a result of his guidance and direction.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Kalish held the position of president of Civil Group at Computer Science Corporation (CSC).  There, he was responsible for all elements of business performance and led an innovative business model and cost reduction and containment program that significantly increased margins. Mr. Kalish increased his group’s annual revenue from $600 million to $1.3 billion over the course of a 4 year period.

Other highlights of Mr. Kalish’s career include serving as an engineering department manager for the Sperry Corporation, working on the Navy’s strategic submarine program, and his employment at Honeywell Corporation as an inertial systems engineer for NASA’s Apollo project.

Mr. Kalish holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the Carnegie Institute of Technology and an MS in operations research from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. He has also worked on a PhD in operations research through the Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Kalish has received many industry awards including the CSC Corporate Eagle award for outstanding business performance, Federal Computer Week’s Fed 100 award and the Navy Career Service award which was presented by Admiral Hyman Rickover’s office for over 20 years of performance and dedication to the critical strategic submarine program’s national defense mission.
